Spinach Pizza In A Hurry

A yummy, moderately healthy pizza.

From your counter to your table in less than 14 minutes.

(Thank you, Beth, for the recipe idea!)

Start with the pizza-dough-in-the-can.

Please don't look at the ingredients.

I know they're not the best.

But we're going for fast here.

(For a great gluten-free pizza dough recipe, look here
It's the adapted brain-child of my dear friend, Caneel on her GF blog).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Wince as you pop open the pizza dough can.

Lay the dough on the paper.

Roll it out.

Spread some Alfredo sauce on the crust.

(You might want to sprinkle a little salt or your
favorite spices on top of the sauce.
You can also substitute the Alfredo sauce for pizza sauce,
or mix a little tomato paste with pasta sauce and add spices...)

Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Place handfuls of fresh spinach on top of the cheese.

Sprinkle the spinach with more mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese and crust are well browned.

There are so many variations to this pizza: you can add diced pimentos, sauteed bell peppers, sliced cherry tomatoes, roasted Roma tomatoes, onions, sausage, pepperoni, etc., etc.

But whatever you decide to do, you'll be glad you can get it to the table quickly.

That looks delish! Wish there was a gf ready-to-pop can of dough! Thanks for the mention! :)
